Urban dance or street dance is a style of dance, regardless of the country of origin, which evolved outside the dance studios in any available open space such as streets, dance parties, block parties, parks, schoolyards, raves and night clubs.
Hip Hop dance called in generic terms, "Street Dance" or "Urban Dance", refers to the different styles of street dance danced especially with Hip Hop music. Styles that differed from Break Dance began to appear by speaking vertically, leaving the positions on the ground. In the 1970s in the South Bronx, New York, young people from the Latino and African American community with a long history of poverty and marginalization, driven by the need to dance and not being able to access dance studios developed a style dancing in the streets.
Urban Dance Training is taught in our two academies with classes in the morning and afternoons
