2º Jazz Broadway ( Theater Dance)

In the Middle  level of Broadway Dance, we will expand the work previously learned, entering into more elaborate and complex choreographies inspired by iconic Broadway musicals, such as Cabaret, Cats, Chicago, Moulin Rouge, among others.

To access this level, students must take a placement test that will evaluate their skills and determine the most appropriate course for each one, thus ensuring an adequate and enriching learning experience.

Description

Broadway Dance works with more elaborate fragments of Broadway choreographies such as Cabaret, Cats, Chicago, Moulin Rouge, etc... in order to create a small repertoire of styles, at the same time that the technique is worked on to educate the body and obtain the greater elegance in movement. The student learns to slide and have a more correct body posture for this style of dance.

 

Jazz Broadway is a style of dance that is danced in musicals… and that adapts the steps and techniques to the song that is being choreographed. This style is outlined by the technique of corporal expression, Jazz and contemporary dance, aiming at theatrical representation and personification, also using gestures, gestures, postures, among other things, on various musical rhythms used in staging and musical comedy shows.
